UT’s quintet of soccer recruits includes a Canadian and two Texas teammates

As it looks ahead to the 2019 soccer season, Texas has expanded its recruiting radius.

The Longhorns have announced the signing of five players. The two in-state players in UT’s 2019 recruiting class are Gabriella Missimo and Sydney Nobles, who are currently teammates at Southlake Carroll High. The Longhorns also signed players from Canada, California and Georgia.

“We are tremendously excited to have signed this 2019 recruiting class filled with knowledge, athleticism and experience,” Texas coach Angela Kelly said in a press release. “The talent in this class stretches from the east to the west coast, while of course, always keeping our standout Texas natives at home. 2019 looks to be a very dynamic, electric year.”


Texas went 13-5-3 this past season. The Longhorns were upset by Virginia Tech in the first round of the NCAA tournament.
