The Texas spring game will once again be under the lights at Royal-Memorial Stadium.
The Longhorns announced Wednesday their annual spring game will be Saturday, April 13. Kickoff is scheduled for 6:30 p.m.

The Orange-White spring game is typically the culmination of spring practice, however it does not necessarily mean that Saturday will be the final day of spring drills. Each team is granted 15 full-pad workouts during the spring, according to NCAA rules.
Last April, Texas coaches put quarterback Sam Ehlinger with one unit and Shane Buechele with the other as the position was unsettled. This spring, Ehlinger is the clear-cut No. 1 choice while Buechele is exploring a transfer.
The Longhorns held a team meeting on Monday and their first workouts this week to kickstart the offseason program. Texas is likely a preseason top-15 program, possibly top 10, for the 2019 season.
Coach Tom Herman’s club was 10-4 last season and beat then-No. 5 Georgia in the Sugar Bowl.
