Texas LB Ayodele Adeoye to miss spring workouts with foot injury

Posted January 25th, 2020

Texas linebacker Ayodele Adeoye sustained a foot injury that will require surgery, the school announced Saturday.

Adeoye, a redshirt freshman last season, played in all 13 games and finished with 45 tackles. He is expected to undergo surgery to repair the injury next week and miss the upcoming spring workouts.

The Longhorns typically take it slow with any player who gets hurt in offseason workouts or during spring practice. Adeoye is not expected to miss time when summer workouts begin for the 2020 season.
