Texas’ Prince Dorbah and Justin Mader to be ready for fall camp following summertime surgeries

Freshman Prince Dorbah and junior Justin Mader both require arthroscopic surgery for their knee injuries, Texas announced on Friday.
Texas said the surgeries for Dorbah and Mader will happen on Monday. The Longhorns expect both players to return during the team’s preseason training camp.

The 6-4, 215-pound Dorbah was a four-star signee in UT’s 2020 recruiting class. During his time at Highland Park High, Dorbah won two state championships. As a senior, he earned District 6-5A, Division I’s Defensive MVP award.
Mader has been UT’s deep snapper for the past two seasons. Originally a walk-on from Magnolia, he was placed on scholarship before the 2019 season.
