The Texas men’s tennis team made quick work of California, taking a 4-0 sweep in an NCAA super regional at the Texas Tennis Center on Saturday.
The Longhorns advance to the quarterfinals for the third time in six years. They’ll face either Mississippi State or TCU on Thursday.
After winning the doubles point, Texas took three straight-sets victories in singles.
Yuya Ito clinched the win, topping Jack Molloy 6-3, 6-3.

Harrison Scott started singles action with a 6-3, 6-3 win before Christian Sigsgaard made it 3-0 with a 6-2, 6-4 victory.
