Texas freshman bows out at DropshotLLC Men’s Pro Tennis Open

Siem Woldeab’s impressive run at the DropshotLLC Men’s Pro Tennis Open came to an end Saturday.
Jacob Fearnley of Great Britain defeated Woldeab 6-2, 7-6 (4) to advance to the final at the Texas Tennis Center.
The Texas freshman earned three victories on the way to the semifinals.
Fearnley will take on Collin Altamirano on Sunday.
Former Longhorn George Goldhoff and his doubles partner Jaime Bendeck also fell Saturday. Eliot Spizzirri and Tyler Zink won 6-4, 6-4 in the semifinals.
