The Texas soccer team scored five goals in a shutout victory over Air Force in an exhibition match at Myers Stadium on Friday.
The Longhorns wasted little time before getting on the scoreboard.
Haley Berg scored on a penalty kick before two minutes came off the game clock.
MacKenzie McFarland doubled the lead over six minutes later. Cyera Hintzen assisted on the play. Hintzen also scored a goal later in the first half.
Cydney Billups kept the momentum for the Longhorns with a goal early in the second half. Hintzen assisted on that goal as well.
Berg added her second goal of the match in the 70th minute, assisted by Sydney Nobles.
Savannah Madden and Nicole Curry combined for the clean sheet, each playing a half in net. Curry made four saves while Madden saved two shots.
The Longhorns kick off the regular season Thursday as they host Gonzaga at 7 p.m.
