The win makes Texas 8-0 in Big 12 action for the first time since 2013.
“Good job today by our team,” Texas head coach Connie Clark said. “I thought our defense and Paige did a really outstanding job for us. Paige can be really dominating at times.”

Janae Jefferson went 3-for-4 and stole a base.
After a scoreless first inning, Schattle put Texas ahead in the second with a two-run homer into left center.
