Texas divers win team titles at Nationals

Murphy Bromberg and Alison Gibson qualify for World Championships.

Texas won the combined and women’s team titles at the USA Diving Nationals, which ended Sunday in Indianapolis. The Longhorns earned eight medals, and Murphy Bromberg and Alison Gibson qualified to represent the U.S. at the World Championships in Gwangju, South Korea, in July.

Bromberg won platform synchro and placed third in 3-meter synchro and platform, and Gibson won 3-meter synchro. Jordan Windle was third in platform synchro and 3-meter, Jacob Cornish was third in 3-meter synchro, and Grayson Campbell was third in 1-meter.

In the combined team scoring, Texas had 215.50 points. Purdue was second with 161.50, and Miami was third with 116.00.
