The UT women’s golf team landed at no. 14 in the Golfweek/Sagarin rankings on Wednesday following a win over the weekend.
The Longhorns have played two tournaments since the season began, finishing in the top-three at both events. They won the Lady Paladin last weekend while freshman Emilee Hoffman took medalist honors. It was their first win since 2011. They finished in third at the Minnesota Invitational earlier this month.
Their no. 14 ranking is the highest they’ve had since Ryan Murphy took over as head coach in 2014.
The Longhorns next event will be at the Jim West Invitational on Oct. 9.
Alabama tops the rankings, followed by Southern Cal and Arkansas.
