Longhorns second at Schooner Fall Classic

A pair of Longhorns are in the top-5 as Texas sits in second place after the second round at the Schooner Fall Classic in Norman, Okla.

Every Longhorn shot under par and Texas matched a team record 272 Saturday. The No. 6 Longhorns are second behind No. 3 Alabama through two rounds. The Crimson Tide leads by ten strokes.

Emilee Hoffman leads Texas at 134, 8 under par in fourth place. She followed up a first-round 67 with another 67 Saturday.


Hailee Cooper shot 65, five strokes better than her first round and the Longhorns’ best of the day, and sits in a tie for fifth.

Sára Kousková followed her first-round 66 with a 70 on Saturday. She’s 6 under par and tied for seventh.

Kaitlyn Papp shot 70 Saturday to sit at 139, 3 under par through two rounds. She sits in a tie for 16th.

Agathe Laisne improved by four strokes in the second round to sit tied for 35th at 2 over par.

The final round of the Schooner Fall Classic begins at 10:10 a.m. Sunday for the Longhorns.
