Longhorns in third at Betsy Rawls Invitational

Four Longhorns are in the top 11 as the Texas women’s golf team sits tied for third place at the Betsy Rawls Invitational.

Kent State, ranked 5th, leads at 564 through two rounds at UT Golf Club. Oklahoma State is second at 567 while the Longhorns and Miami are knotted at 572.

Sophie Guo and Hailee Cooper lead Texas at 1-under, 143. They’re tied for eighth place.


Kaitlyn Papp and Sara Kouskova are both even for the tournament at 144.

Maren Cipolla sits tied for 32nd while Kelly Xac is competing as an individual in 77th place.

Renate Grimstad of Miami leads overall at 9-under, 135.

The final round of the competition begins at 8:30 a.m. Sunday.
