Texas women’s golf team leads at White Sands Invitational

The Texas women’s golf team leads by 18 strokes before the final round of the White Sands Invitational in Nassau, Bahamas.

Three Longhorns sit in the top five after two rounds. Texas shot 554 through two rounds to sit at 22 under.

Sophie Guo leads overall after firing 66 and 67 in the first two rounds. She’s 11 under entering the final round and leads by four strokes.


Sára Kousková sits at 7 under, 137 for a tie for second place.

Kaitlyn Papp shot 141 through the second round for a tie for fifth.

Emilee Hoffman added another top 10 score for Texas, shooting 143, 1 under through two rounds.

Hailee Cooper is tied for 22nd at 146, 2 over par.

Texas will try to finish off the win on Wednesday. Arkansas is second at 572 while Oklahoma and Georgia are tied for third.
