The Longhorns women’s tennis team rallied to win the doubles point and ended up topping Oklahoma 6-1 in Norman on Friday.
After falling down a match in doubles competition, the Longhorns rallied to win two straight contests. Anna Turati and Bianca Turati won 6-2 before Tijana Spasojevic and Petra Granic sealed the doubles point with a 6-3 win.
Bianca Turati sealed the match overall with a 6-1, 6-3 win over Oleksandra Korashvil.
After doubles, Anna Turati kept the momentum with a dominating 6-0, 6-0 to make it 2-0 for Texas.
Katie Poluta made it 3-1 with a straight-sets win before Bianca Turati closed it out.
With the match clinched, Texas added two more singles wins. Fernanda Labraña won 6-1, 6-2 while Bojana Markovic won 5-7, 6-3, 1-0 (10-6).
