Posted November 5th, 2014

Texas has added Tulsa to the 2018 non-conference schedule and will pay the Hurricane $1.1 million to come to Austin, according to an agenda item scheduled to be approved by the UT System Board of Regents.

The UT regents should approve the Michigan series in 2024 and 2027 and a three-game series with South Florida (2019, ’22 and ’24) during their two-day meetings in El Paso that begin Wednesday.

By adding Tulsa to the schedule, the Longhorns have their non-conference schedule set for the next four years. Next season, Texas will play at Notre Dame and then host Rice and California next season.
