University Co-op starts fundraiser to help Neighborhood Longhorns

If you’ve got a picture with Bevo, then the University Co-op would like to see it.

The Co-op announced on its Twitter feed that it would donate $2 to the every photo that’s tweeted or posted on Instagram that includes the hashtag #CoopLovesBevo.

The money raised will be donated to the Neighborhood Longhorns Program, an innovative program where UT and the Austin school district partner together to help school-age children further their education.


As one might expect, photos started rolling in.

Even Ricky Brennes’ wife, Erica, got in on the photo fun. Ricky Brennes is the point person responsible for Bevo’s appearances.
