Texas forward Nneka Enemkpali was named to the Senior Class All-America second team by a nationwide panel of coaches, media and fans.

To be eligible for the award and the All-American teams, a student-athlete must be classified as an NCAA Division I senior and have notable achievements in four areas of excellence: community, classroom, character and competition.

Before a season-ending knee injury on Jan. 19, Enemkpali led the Big 12 in rebounding (10.4 rpg) and double-doubles (nine), while pacing the Longhorns in scoring (12.4 ppg). The Pflugerville HS graduate ended her collegiate career with 30 double-doubles, 899 rebounds, and 1,116 points. In the Texas record books, her career rebound total ranks ninth and her career point total ranks 30th.

Enemkpali was a three-time All-Big 12 honoree and two-time Academic All-Big 12 Second Team honoree. She is majoring in African and African Diaspora Studies and is on track to graduate in May.
