A big weekend by junior Stephanie Ceo has earned the second baseman her first career Big 12 Player of the Week honor.

Ceo batted .500 in a series sweep of Oklahoma State this past weekend, hitting safely in all three games with three runs scored, two stolen bases, two home runs, including her first career grand slam, and a team-high six RBIs.

With the selection, Ceo joins center fielder Lindsey Stephens and freshman pitcher Erica Wright as Longhorns honored by the Big 12 in 2015.

Texas opens a three-game series on Wednesday in Waco to face the No. 16 Baylor at Getterman Stadium at 7 p.m. The game will be televised on ESPN2.

The Longhorns will close the regular season with a two-game home stand against the Bears beginning Saturday at 6:30 p.m. and ending Sunday with a 1 p.m. game. Both games at McCombs Field will be televised by the Longhorn Network.
