Texas lands fifth football commit for 2016 class

Arlington Bowie offensive lineman Tope Imade has committed to Texas for the 2016 class. Imade (6-4, 327 pounds) made the announcement Tuesday on Twitter.

Imade is the fifth member of Texas’ class, joining wide receivers Reggie Hemphill-Mapps and Collin Johnson, quarterback Shane Buechele, and linebacker Demarco Boyd.
Imade is a three-star recruit, per 247 Sports’ composite rankings. His 18 scholarship offers include Michigan, Miami, and Washington.
