Just another day at the office for Charlie Strong and a pair of live tigers
Posted June 2nd, 2015
An office dog is a staple in many Austin startup work spaces. An office jungle cat, less so.
Don’t tell University of Texas football coach Charlie Strong.

Longhorns linebacker Dalton Santos tweeted the photo of his fearless leader just chillin’ in an office with a couple tiger cubs on Tuesday. The feet on the desk as the two fearsome beasts wrestle on the ground is a real power move, in our opinion.
Santos also tweeted a picture of himself at Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium with a clawed companion:

Representatives from Auburn, Clemson, Mizzou, etc. had no response at the time of this blog post. Also, no word yet on whether we should expect a photo op of Augie Garrido with a Boa constrictor draped around his shoulders, Britney Spears style.
But regardless: Hook ’em, tigers.
UPDATE: And now we know, thanks to the Longhorn football program’s Twitter account, that these tiger cubs are 10 weeks old and named Bonnie and Clyde.

The twin cubs, named Bonnie and Clyde for now, weigh approximately 20 pounds and will be sent on to the Portland Zoo at the appropriate time

Of course the cubs are headed to Portland, because where else would you head after spending time in Austin?
