Buffalo Bills defensive back Aaron Williams will be hosting his third annual Lone Star Showcase this summer, giving local youth a unique opportunity to interact with and learn from NFL players in a fun environment.
The showcase is for all high school football players in 2016-2019 classes, excluding kickers. The former McNeil High and University of Texas player is returning to Round Rock to teach advanced football skills and instructions. There will also be stretching, position drills, 1-on-1, and 7-on-7 drills. Guest Speakers will join the showcase that also includes lunch, awards and a silent auction. All camp proceeds go to the Aaron Williams Honorary Scholarship fund managed by Partners in Education Foundation of Round Rock ISD.
The Showcase will be held June 28th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Cedar Ridge High School.
“I’m very excited to return back home to provide an opportunity for these high school student-athletes,” said Williams. “My goal last year was to help these young men by providing a clinic that they can learn and develop their football skills, while also giving back to the community. Last year’s turnout was great and we expect this year’s event to be bigger and better.”
