Texas kicker raises the bar with backflip field goal

OK, so when it comes to football feats, you’ve seen a backflip catch or two in your day. A pair of Texas football players upped the ante Monday with their acrobatic backflip field goal video.

Quarterback Trey Holtz posted a clip of himself and Texas kicker Nick Rose completing the impressive new field goal move in slow-motion on his Twitter account. “Texas has raised the bar,” he wrote.

Rose, the one performing the backflip in the video, is no stranger to viral fame – his headshot went viral last year.
