Massive defensive tackle Gerald Wilbon of Louisiana has committed to Texas.
Wilbon, a three-star prospect from Destrehan, made the announcement Wednesday on Twitter.

Wilbon is 6-feet, 3-inches and 311 pounds. Texas by far is his biggest suitor. Arizona, Arizona State, and Texas Tech also offered.
New Longhorns defensive line coach Brick Haley, who worked in Louisiana previously at LSU, recruited Wilbon.
Wilbon is the sixth 2016 commitment for Texas, which is off to a slow start and ranks just 52nd nationally. The Longhorns trail six state schools, including Houston and SMU.
Earlier Wednesday, Texas lost out on Killeen Shoemaker defensive end Rahssan Thornton, who committed to LSU. Thornton, a three-star prospect, had received a Texas offer over the weekend and the Longhorns were said to be on his short list.
