Texas placed ninth in the Directors’ Cup standings for the 2014-15 academic year, finishing in the top-1o for the second straight year and the 16th time in the Cup’s 22-year history.
The Longhorns, who amassed 1,057.50 points, are the top-ranked school in the Big 12 and the state of Texas.
The Directors’ Cup measures success across all sports. Texas scored in each of its nine men’s programs and in nine women’s sports. Stanford won with 1,448 points. Rounding out the top five were UCLA (1,236), USC (1,209), Florida (1,188.50) and North Carolina (1,152.00).
