Texas’ 2016 football schedule is complete.
The Longhorns will open conference play Oct. 1 at Oklahoma State, according to a scheduled released by the Big 12 on Tuesday. The following week, Texas will face Oklahoma in Dallas, so conference play could get off to a tricky start for the Longhorns. From there, the schedule shows Iowa State, Kansas State (road), Baylor, Texas Tech (road), West Virginia and Kansas (road). The regular season concludes Nov. 24, Thanksgiving, against TCU.
Texas will be off on Sept. 24 (week four).
Texas’ non-conference slate has been in place for some time. Notre Dame comes to Austin to open the season on Sept. 3. The Horns host UTEP the following week before hitting the road to play Cal.
