Where it went wrong: TCU sent eight batters to the plate in the sixth and scored three runs off of Nolan Kingham and Chase Shugart.

The starter: Kyle Johnston had six full counts and his lack of command led to an early exit after just 2 1/3 innings. He gave up six hits, walked two more, and struck out two. Johnston was charged with one run in the second and two more in the third.

Top hitter: Tres Barrera, 1-4, HR, 2 RBI.

Key Stat: TCU, which was shutout on Friday, scored in five straight innings from the second to the sixth.
