WATCH: Softball coach Connie Clark take pies to her face after 800th win

Posted April 28th, 2016

With Texas softball’s 6-0 win over Texas Southern last night at Red & Charline McCombs Field on Wednesday, the Longhorns celebrated their 31st win of the season. But for head coach Connie Clark, it set a new landmark in her coaching career – her 800th victory.

Longhorns players decided to celebrate in a unique way, by pieing their coach during her on-camera post-game interview on the Longhorn Network.

Watch seniors Rachel Scott, Lindsey Stephens and Stephanie Ceo deliver the desserts to Clark:

“It’s special because she had a milestone my freshman year, so I started and finished with getting to pie her. She’s taught me a lot through these four years, and it’s a really great thing to be a part of.” Ceo told the Daily Texan last night.

Texas will look for Clark’s 801st win as they host Kansas beginning on Friday at 4:30 p.m.
