WATCH: ‘Right now the (recruiting) momentum certainly looks like it’s with Charlie Strong’

On Thursday, ESPN.com’s recruiting coordinator Jeremy Crabtree was quizzed on Paul Finebaum’s SEC Channel show in regards to how the battle of recruiting in the state of Texas is going between Texas and Texas A&M.

Crabtree certainly believes Strong’s program is on the way up. He explained to Finebaum that both the Aggies and Longhorns were poised to land the same five of ESPN’s Top 300 recruits in the nation. By the end of the 2016 signing day, Texas had all five committed to their class. The Aggies were left empty handed.

“Everybody was talking about the Texas Longhorns on signing day,” Crabtree said.

At the end of the interview Crabtree summed up where Texas’ efforts are currently in comparison to the fellas in College Station.

“Right now the momentum certainly looks like it’s with Charlie Strong,” Crabtree said.
