Texas’ Sandie Raines won the women’s 3K and UT’s Alex Rogers took the men’s 5K at the Texas Invitational on Friday at Hancock Golf Course.
In the women’s 3K, Texas had eight runners place in the top 10 and the Longhorns had seven runners place in the top 10 in the men’s 5K.
Ranies won the women’s race in 10 minutes 25.11 seconds, followed by teammate Meghan Lloyd (10:26.90).
Rogers ran the 5K in 15 minutes 5.55 seconds. Texas freshman Spencer Dodds took second in 15:15.36 and UT’s Connor Hendrickson placed third at 15:32.11.
UT-San Antonio took second place in the team standings in each race. Other teams competing on Friday were UTSA, Prairie View A&M and Texas Southern.
