Chris Warren out of Oklahoma game with knee injury

Posted October 3rd, 2016

At Monday’s press conference, Charlie Strong addressed the injury status of Texas’ leading two running backs. Both D’Onta Foreman and Chris Warren III were injured during Texas’ 49-31 loss to Oklahoma State Saturday.

Strong ruled Warren out for Saturday’s matchup versus Oklahoma and noted he didn’t know how long he’d be on the shelf. Foreman will be back for the game according to Strong and that he’ll be back to practice “later in the week.”

Foreman injured (abdominal) in the third quarter Saturday – stopping to go to down to the ground in the middle of a run. Warren hurt his knee toward the end of the first half.
