Bohls: Clemson falls a bit, Baylor on the rise

Posted October 16th, 2016

Here’s how my AP ballot shook out on Sunday morning.

Moved Clemson down from No. 3 to 5 with its unimpressive, fortunate overtime win over North Carolina State. I don’t gamble, but if I did, I’d never ever ever every — no, not ever — on a college kicker making a crucial kick. You shouldn’t either.

I slid Baylor up to No. 8 from 10 after mauling Kansas at home. The Bears are going to be hard to ignore by the national pollster and the College Football Playoff selection committee if they keep winning.

I moved Tennessee all the way down to No. 18. Do the Volunteers do not understand ball security?

Ohio State now occupies my No. 2 slot. The Buckeyes just get it done.

Washington State is the newcomer on my ballot, and yes I am a Mike Leach fan.

Here’s my ballot:

  1. Alabama

  4. Washington
  5. Clemson
