Texas signees Prince, Collier prepare for Jordan Brand Classic

They are the seventh and eighth players from Texas to play in the game

Charli Collier has been ranked as the No. 2 prospect in the nation for the Class of 2018 by ESPN.

Sedona Prince and Charli Collier, the top recruits for the University of Texas women’s basketball team, will play in the Jordan Brand Classic on Sunday in Brooklyn, N.Y.

Tip-off at the Barclays Center is 1:30 p.m. CT and the game will be available through WatchESPN and the ESPN app.

Collier has been named to the “home team” roster, while Prince is on the “away team” roster. Both recently also participated in the McDonald’s All-American Game.


Collier and Prince are the seventh and eighth players in Texas women’s basketball history to be selected to participate in the Jordan Brand Classic, which began in 2015. Collier and Prince, along with Joanne Allen-Taylor and Audrey Warren, comprise the nation’s No. 3 recruiting class according to

Collier, a 6-foot-5 forward/center from Mont Belvieu, Texas, is the nation’s top-ranked player according to Prospects Nation and the Blue Star Report, and the No. 2 player by espnW Hoop Gurlz. Prince, a 6-foot-7 center from Liberty Hill, Texas, is the nation’s 12th-ranked player according to espnW Hoop Gurlz and is ranked sixth nationally by both Blue Star Report and Prospects Nation.
