The hits just keep on coming.

Texas second baseman Kody Clemens hit an opposite field home run to push Texas’ lead over Tennessee Tech to 3-0 in the bottom of the third inning Monday.

The home run was Clemens’ 24th on the season, second all-time in a season behind Kyle Russell’s 28 in 2007. Catcher DJ Petrinsky added a second bomb in the inning as the Longhorns headed to the fourth inning with a four run lead.
