Texas’ track and field team unveiled the schedule for its 2019 outdoor season on Wednesday, and Myers Stadium is set to host three meets this spring.
The annual Texas Relays will be held from March 27-30, and the Texas Invitational is set for May 4. The NCAA Outdoor Championships will also be in town from June 5-8. The NCAA last held its outdoor meet outside of Eugene, Ore., in 2012.
“Texas Track & Field fans are the best in the country, and we look forward to being able to showcase our facility, our student-athletes and our fan base to the track and field community throughout the year,” UT coach Edrick Floréal said in a press release.
ATX will be the center of the track & field universe in 2019. See you at Mike A. Myers Stadium! 😎
