About the Wildcats: In the 120th meeting between the schools, Kansas defeated Kansas State 61-54 last Saturday in Manhattan. It was Kansas’ first victory over its longtime rival in 10 games. Williams surpassed the career 500-rebound mark and career 70-block mark in program history. She’s the sixth player in program history to achieve those benchmarks and the second under head coach Jeff Mittie. … Perhaps the best game for K-State this season was an 86-56 victory over Oklahoma earlier this month. By contrast, Texas beat the Sooners 73-63 last week.
